Looks great - Shower head alone is not enough, but pair it with the hand shower, and wow! Yes, the hand shower is independent of the showerhead, so you can have one, either or both. Preset temperature on thermostat is a little low - we like it warmer, so we bump it up, but it's not intuitive. Still, very happy with the purchase.
