LIMITED WARRANTY

All products must be professionally installed by a qualified, licensed plumber. Warranties are not transferable and are extended solely to the original consumer purchaser of the product, so long as the product remains in its original installation. All warranty claims require proof of original purchase. A valid professional contractor’s license may be requested for verification of proper installation. 

TUB AND SINK WARRANTY

Our tubs are warrantied to be free of manufacturing and finish defects for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase, when properly installed by a qualified, licensed plumber. In most cases on-site repair of the tub may be performed, minimizing the inconvenience to the customer.
 

FAUCET & ACCESSORY WARRANTY

  • All items are warrantied to be free of manufacturing and finish defects for a period of 5 years from date of purchase, when properly installed by a qualified, licensed plumber 
  • For items other than sinks and tubs, this warranty covers replacement of defective parts, not of complete product, unless deemed necessary by a customer service representative
  • Our technicians will determine whether to replace or repair defective parts and the original part(s) need(s) to be returned before the warranty claim is processed (excluding cartridges)
  • Customers will be given a quote for repairs or replacements that fall outside of this warranty. Consent must be given by the customer prior to the claim being processed by technicians  
  • Cartridges are warrantied for a period of 10 years for all our faucets only if Strom Living currently sells and inventories the replacement cartridges  
  • All our ceramic faucet handles are warrantied for 5 years from date of purchase. Any ceramic faucet handle developing cracks or chips will be promptly replaced, as a cracked or broken handle may result in personal injury. 
  • Chrome, Nickel, and Supercoat finishes are warrantied against manufacturer’s defect for a period of 5 years. Oil Rubbed Bronze, Satin Black, and all Unlacquered Brass finishes are warrantied prior to installation and use. These finishes must be inspected prior to installation and do not carry a warranty once installed and used. Please refer to care and maintenance instructions. 
  • Parts or products replaced or exchanged under a valid warranty claim are warrantied for the remainder of the original warranty period.
 

CARE, CLEANING, AND MAINTENANCE

  • Products should be wiped down with a dry or lightly dampened, soft cloth after each use to maintain finish quality. Do NOT clean the surfaces with an abrasive material such as a scouring pad or brush. Damage due to water or water quality are not covered under warranty. 
  • Use a lacquer-friendly brass polish along with a fiberless cloth to carefully remove water deposits that build up over time  
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow applicable care and cleaning instructions will void warranty coverage. Use of plumber's putty, detergents, acids, waxes, or abrasive cleaners will void the warranty of the finish as they may cause deterioration of the coating. To maintain warranty coverage, avoid using the following chemicals: 
    • Naphtha
    • Amyl Acetate 
    • Hydrogen Peroxide Solution 
    • Toluene 
    • Ethyl Acetate 
    • Lye (common additive to drain cleaners) 
    • Acetone 
    • Bleach 

Strom Living reserves the right to determine whether our products have been damaged due to improper care, cleaning, and maintenance  

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Installation instructions are included with every faucet and are also available on our website at stromliving.com
  • Plumber's putty should not be used for installation. We recommend a bead of waterproof silicone where putty is needed
  • Use teflon tape on threading to protect against leakage  
  • Strom Living reserves the right to determine whether our products have been damaged due to improper installation

PRICE CHANGES

Prices and products are subject to change without notice. Unless price is protected in writing, shipment will be at prevailing prices 
 

EXCLUSIONS AND DISCLAIMERS

  • All warranty coverage is for normal domestic use only and excludes damage resulting from misuse, freezing water, abuse, neglect, accidental damage, reasonable wear and tear, excess mineral deposits, or improper installation.  
  • The warranty only applies to interior installations. Our products are not warrantied for outdoor use.  
  • The warranty does not cover products purchased through unauthorized sellers, unless otherwise prohibited by law. 
  • Warranty coverage does not extend to labor charges, air freight charges, or damages incurred from installation, replacement, or repair. 

We only sell wholesale to qualifying trade accounts.

We bought this for our antique high back sink. The faucet is beautiful, and works really well. It totally up our experience using the antique sink. The drain however did not fit the drain hole. We drill and drill to try to open the hole up a bit to fit it, but it still has a lip and now water won’t drain out and pools a bit in the sink. We should have left the original drain in place. The faucet is just lovely though!
